Toronto Maple Leafs Lose Again, Now in 2nd to Last Place

The Toronto Maple Leaf’s season has reached a new low.  The Maple Leafs are now in last place in the Eastern Conference and 2nd to last place in the NHL after losing to the New York Islanders 5-4.

Time to expect even more trade rumors out of Toronto as the Maple Leafs show time and time again that they don’t have what it takes to make a run at the playoffs.  Now it is time for the Maple Leafs to trade Sundin.  Sundin needs to waive his no-trade clause and help his team looking towards their future.  Kubina needs to be sold off as well.  A number of other Leafs should be packed up and sent somewhere else as well.

The bottom line is that the Maple Leaf’s season is over and the team needs to be reconstructed.  Time to start listening for the Sundin trade rumors and watching for trade deadline deals from the Maple Leafs.
